23 invited Black Stars players take part in training ahead of double-header WC qualifiers

All twenty-three Black Stars players invited by coach Otto Addo for the double-header 2026 FIFA World Cup (WC) qualifiers against Chad and Madagascar took part in the team’s preparations at the Accra Sports Stadium on Tuesday ahead of their two crucial encounters.

The technical team took the stars through several drills and exercises designed to test their readiness ahead of the WC qualifiers.

Among the players in camp were Mohammed Kudus, Jordan Ayew, Thomas Partey, Alexander Djiku, Mohammed Salisu, and Jerome Opoku.

The rest are Jonas Adjetey and Ernest Nuamah, Francis Abu, Ebenezer Annan and Antoine Semenyo. The Black Stars, who began their preparations for the qualifiers on Monday are expected to train at the same venue on Wednesday and Thursday.

Ghana will take on Chad in matchday five of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers on Friday, March 21, after which the team will travel to Morocco to play against Madagascar on Monday, March 24, 2025.

Ghana currently lies on second position with nine points same as leader Comoros in the league of Group I in the qualifiers. Enditem
