The Ghana Education Service (GES) announced late Friday that Form 2 students in Senior High and Senior High Technical Schools operating the Transitional Track system will be granted an Easter break from next week.

In the statement addressed to all Regional Directors of Education across the country, the GES announced the break will begin on Thursday, 17th April and end on Monday, 21st April, 2025.

“Students who wish to travel home and celebrate the Easter festivities with their families should be given the opportunity to do so,” said the statement.

“All students who will travel home are expected to return to school on Tuesday, 22nd April 2025, to resume academic activities promptly,” added the statement.

The GES however emphasized that the break is optional, and students who prefer to stay on campus during the period will be allowed to remain under proper supervision. Enditem
