Mahama, Akufo-Addo meet at Kwahu

The president, John Dramani Mahama, and former president, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, met at Kwahu on Sunday, the former president confirmed.

This is the duo’s first meeting after the Independence celebration on March 6, 2025, at the Jubilee House, the seat of government in the Ghanaian capital of Accra.

“On Sunday, 20th April, 2025, the President of the Republic, H. E. John Dramani Mahama, and I met on the lush landscape of Kwahu, where for nearly two decades, I have consecutively visited to mark the sacred period of Easter,” said Nana Akufo-Addo.

As part of the Easter celebration, President Mahama addressed the Kwahu Business Forum at Mpraeso on Saturday under the theme, “The future of business: The role of the financial sector.”
